The successful candidate will be part of the Presona team that visions a world where recycling just works. At Presona we supply and manufacture our own range of recycling equipment from fully automatic balers to chain conveyors, all supplied to leading retailers across the UK and Ireland.

The Job

As service coordinator you will be responsible for the general coordination of the department ranging from systems and procedures, schedules and workloads, production and stock as well as excellent customer service. You will be responsible for the overall unity of the mentioned elements to assist with the department’s operational efficiency.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Point of contact for our customers and staff with job scheduling and organisational matters, including RAMS
• Arranging dates with the customer for our engineer’s visits, passing this information to the engineers (via weekly works schedule)
• Stock management and purchasing
• Organisation of the service workload, ensuring scheduled service intervals etc. are carried out
• Assist customer disputes with the Head Engineer
• Review and authorise job reports so they are ready for prompt invoicing and provide any additional information to the accounts department where required
• Handle quotations for customers
• Service department systems development
• Frontline initial customer support and group mailbox management
• Reverting incomplete documents back to the engineers ensuring missing reports are sent in and accurate
• Schedule the out of hours support and engineer on call rota
• Attend and input at weekly service meetings, compile the minutes and action points going forward
• Promote good customer service with the team
• Learning and keeping up to date with our machinery and spare parts
• Fire Safety testing/inspections
• Manage the overall contract and handle the weekly exchange and laundry
• Order oil test kits and monitor oil analysis results

The Person

• Previous experience working in a Customer Service role
• Exceptionally organised
• Quick learner with the ability to learn company systems, policies and procedures
• Ability to cope well under pressure and manage own workload
• Systematic approach to work
• Well-presented and professional at all times
• Excellent communication skills through various channels i.e. email, telephone and face to face communication
• Forward thinking with the ability to adapt to change and new requirements quickly

Desirable

• Literate and numerate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel, Access and Outlook

Type of Employment: Permanent / Full time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Location: Bridgwater
Remuneration: £25,000
Probationary Period: 6 months
