Last year, we introduced an initiative within the company to formally recognise the effort and initiative of our employees. Based on the principles of team members identifying areas where others are doing the right things, instead of focusing on things that are done ‘wrong’.
Dean Clarke, Managing Director of Presona UK said of the 2018 awards:
“I wanted to introduce an initiative that supports my vision of ‘being the best’ - the best team, the best products for the best customers, etc. Since we introduced the initiative, we have had a tremendous response from the team, with literally everyone in the company striving to do their absolute best. It’s been a really great experience, with team members giving positive feedback to colleagues on a regular basis. I’m delighted to announce the winners of the Employee of the Year 2018, albeit a little late with the announcement:”
Kitt Shaw, Field Service Engineer for his continued hard work on site with our customers throughout the UK, and also coming up with an innovative idea to more efficiently sort our conveyor profiling system.

Sam Chan, Service Co-ordinator for his continued happy disposition (for those who know Sam, he is always smiling!). Also for his commitment to providing the best reporting systems and speaking with our customers so professionally to support them.

Richard Portas, Customer Account Manager who won Employee of the Month three times during the year, but ultimately for his dedication to his role and supporting our valued customers and always doing the right things.
Speaking of his win, Richard said: “I honestly can’t believe it. It’s great to have won this and for my colleagues to value my role here so much. I’m really grateful to Presona UK for their generous prize of paying for me, my wife and family to have a ‘family moon’. I’ve just got to make sure I can find a quiet time to take some holiday now!
